Process of updating hardware and firmware (if needed)

Use the “Replacing a Device” function for replacing dongle. ​

The steps of changing Dongle to “02312QMV-004 SDongleA05”:

Check the home router to confirm DHCP is enabled for the ethernet ports.

Check the Fusionsolar APP to confirm that inverter/dongle/batteries are working normally.

Remove the existing dongle. Check the Fusionsolar APP to confirm that inverter/dongle/batteries are offline.

Connect ethernet cable to new dongle. As shown in the “FE Communication” of quick installation guide of new dongle.

Copy the SN (Serial number) of the dongle for later pasting, plug the new Dongle to the inverter and wait 5 minutes for the dongle to boot up.

Follow the “Replacing a Device” from the user manual to put the newly installed dongle into the power plant. Paste the SN of the dongle into Fusionsolar APP.

2. Check the Fusionsolar APP to confirm that inverter/dongle/batteries are working normally.

6. Follow the “Replacing a Device” from the user manual to put the newly installed dongle into the power plant. Paste the SN of the dongle into Fusionsolar APP.
7. Check the Fusionsolar APP to confirm that inverter/dongle/batteries are working normally.

Installers can update software by creating a new update task.

Go to: Plants &gt; Devices &gt; Update Management.

On the Device Upgrade tab page, click Create.

Configuration guidance can be found from “24.6.0 FusionSolar SmartPVMS User Manual(Installer)”.

Choose Monitoring &gt; Monitoring from the main menu.

In the navigation pane, select the WLAN/FE Smart Dongle in the PV+ESS+Charger plant and click Configuration.

In the Management System - 1 area, set parameters related to Fever management system.

- Choose Monitoring &gt; Monitoring from the main menu.
- In the navigation pane, select the WLAN/FE Smart Dongle in the PV+ESS+Charger plant and click Configuration.
- In the Management System - 1 area, set parameters related to Fever management system.
- Click Set.

Note: The Fever server domain name/IP address and TCP port info must be configured per inverter. ​

Note: Access to installer account needed since the configuration of “management system-1” requires installer account.
