Product overview
The Espen Pro is a DIN-rail mounted device designed for reliable local control and monitoring Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). It features an NXP i.MX8M-Plus quad-core CPU with a real-time co-processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and a NVMe SSD storage for logs.
Connectivity includes 2x Gigabit Ethernet and a 4G cellular network radio that acts as a connectivity fallback to when the Ethernet link is not working , alongside a comprehensive set of industrial I/O (RS485, RS232, CAN Bus, DI/DO) that allow for custom integrations with BESS.
